Method 1: Reinstall Bitdefender

. Choose the Windows search menu, type in the Control Panel, and open it.
. Select View By to Large icons.
. Choose the Programs and Features option, select the Bitdefender program, and click Uninstall.
. If you see a prompt, select Yes to allow the app to make changes to the computer.
. Then, you need to get a pop-up window from Bitdefender, select Yes to proceed.
. Now, the uninstallation process will take a while.
. When the uninstallation process is completed, click Finish.
. Choose the Bitdefender Agent program and click Uninstall.
. Click Yes to allow the app to make changes to the computer.
. Close the window and restart your system once the process is complete.
. Now, launch your web browser and visit the official Bitdefender website.
. Then, click on the Home or Business option.
. Head to the PC tab, hover over the Toolbox, then select Antivirus.
. Select Download Now to download the file.
. Access the downloaded file and install it following the on-screen instructions.

Method 2: Disable Other Security & Try to Scan

. First of all, you need to right-click on the Windows start button and select Settings.
. Click on Update & Security, then select Windows Security in the left menu.
. Choose Virus & Threat Protection, and it’ll show the Virus & Threat Protection window.
. Now, scroll down and click on Manage Settings under Virus & Threat Protection settings.
. After that, disable Real-time protection and close the window.
. Select the Real-time protection and close the window.
. Inspect and see if you’re able to scan the PC.
