How to Uninstall Sophos Antivirus on Mac?


Due to various reasons you might need to uninstall the Sophos security product from your device. The follow-up procedure will help you uninstall the product without facing any issues. 

   . Before you move to the uninstallation process, turn off the Tamper Protection. 

   . After that, choose Computers and then select your Mac OS device. 

   . Now, you need to move down to the tamper protection and choose the option Disable Tamper Protection. 

   . Next, head to your Mac device home screen and click on the search (magnifying glass) option; it will open Spotlight. 

   . After that, you need to search for Remove Sophos Home and choose the right option based on the result. 

   . If the removal tool does not appear on the screen, then you need to download it from the official website. 

   . After that, open the file and click Continue on the welcome screen. 

   . When you see a pop-up box on the screen, type the correct user password and select the option Install Helper. 

   . Now, the removal tool will start deleting the Sophos product automatically from your device. 

   . Once you see the removal was a successful notification on the screen, choose Close. 

   . Now, check if the product is completely removed from your device.
