You can follow these simple step-by-step instructions to uninstall the McAfee Security Scan Plus from your device. 

  . First and foremost, go to the Windows Start icon, search for the control panel, and open it. 

  . Next, click on the 'Programs and Features' tile and then locate the McAfee Security option on the open product. 

  . Now, you are required to choose the McAfee Security Scan Plus application and then click on Uninstall/Change. 

  . Once you see the confirmation pop-up on the screen, then choose the Yes option to move forward. 

  . When you see the McAfee application window, choose the program and then click on the Uninstall button. 

  . Henceforth, it will take a few minutes to remove the app completely from your device. 

  . Once the ‘Software Removed’ prompt comes on the display, select the option of Restart Now.
